UCI Official Trucker Cap

The Santini UCI Official Trucker Cap is one of those small kit decisions that pays off on every ride. Whether you're heading out for a weekend loop through the Sahyadri foothills near Pune, grinding up Nandi Hills, or simply commuting through Delhi's scorching summer streets, a well-made trucker cap earns its place in your cycling wardrobe without drama.

Use Cases

Under-helmet sweat management. Absorbs forehead sweat in 35°C+ heat across Mumbai, Pune, and Chennai conditions.

Sun protection. Peak shields the eyes and forehead from direct sun on long Indian summer rides.

Style and finish. Completes a coordinated kit for daily rides and group rides.

Our Take

Santini's official UCI partnership lends this trucker cap genuine credibility — this isn't a fashion accessory dressed up in cycling colours. The structured mesh back and breathable front panel suit India's warm riding conditions well, offering ventilation when temperatures push past 35°C. It's a practical, packable cap that works equally well at the cafe stop in Lonavala or on a breezy coastal ride near Chennai. At Rs. 2,650 with free delivery, it's a considered purchase that lasts.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Trucker caps typically come in one adjustable size via a snapback or strap closure, making them broadly compatible with most head shapes. Indian riders with slightly broader head profiles generally find the adjustable fit accommodates them well. If you're between fits, the snapback allows easy customisation. Check Santini's size chart for head circumference guidance if you're unsure.

Compatibility Notes

Designed for casual off-bike and pre/post-ride use rather than under-helmet wear. Hand wash in cold water or machine wash on a gentle cycle; reshape and air dry — avoid tumble drying to preserve the structured brim. The UCI branding is colorfast when washed per care instructions. Works across all cycling disciplines as a lifestyle piece.

Pairs Well With

Consider pairing this cap with a lightweight cycling jersey for post-ride cafe stops, a packable wind vest for early-morning Ooty or Coorg rides, technical cycling socks, and a casual cycling tee for off-bike days. Each adds to a complete, coordinated kit without overcomplicating your setup.
