UCI World Champion Cap

The Santini UCI World Champion Cap carries the rainbow stripes — the most recognisable symbol in professional cycling. More than a style piece, it is a performance cap designed for the real demands of Indian riding: sweat absorption under your helmet, UV protection on exposed climbs, and the kind of packable convenience that makes it a permanent fixture in your jersey pocket from Lonavala to Ooty.

Use Cases

Under-helmet sweat management. Absorbs forehead sweat in 35°C+ heat across Mumbai, Pune, and Chennai conditions.

Sun protection. Peak shields the eyes and forehead from direct sun on long Indian summer rides.

Style and finish. Completes a coordinated kit for daily rides and group rides.

Our Take

Wearing the UCI rainbow stripes is a statement every cyclist understands. Santini, as the official UCI technical partner, brings that credibility into a cap built for actual riding. In India's punishing heat — 35°C+ on the Pune-to-Mahabaleshwar road or the exposed stretches outside Hyderabad — a well-made cycling cap does real work: wicking sweat away from your eyes, shielding your forehead from direct sun, and fitting cleanly under any helmet without bunching. This one earns its place in your kit bag.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Santini caps follow European sizing based on head circumference. Most Indian riders find a standard size fits well, but if you sit between sizes, consider that this cap is meant to fit snugly under a helmet — a slightly closer fit is correct. Measure your head circumference in centimetres and cross-reference the Santini size guide before ordering. The structured brim should sit flat without pulling.

Compatibility Notes

This cap is designed to wear under any road or gravel helmet and sits low enough not to interfere with helmet retention systems. The fabric is machine washable — use a cold or 30°C cycle with mild detergent and hang dry. Avoid tumble drying to preserve the fabric's shape and the integrity of the printed rainbow stripe detailing.

Pairs Well With

Complete your kit with a matching Santini jersey or bib shorts that carry the UCI World Champion colourway. Add a breathable road helmet for full sun protection. A quality base layer helps with moisture transfer on longer rides in the heat and humidity of Chennai or Kolkata summers.
