Ultraflask Speed

Staying hydrated on long rides in India is not optional — it is a performance and safety necessity. Whether you are grinding through the Western Ghats above Lonavala, tackling the Ooty switchbacks, or logging early-morning kilometres in Delhi's summer heat, having fast, reliable access to water changes how you feel in the final hour. The Hydrapak Ultraflask Speed is built for exactly that kind of demanding, high-output riding.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

The Ultraflask Speed earns its place on Indian rides by combining a soft, squeezable body with a fast-flow valve that delivers water without breaking your rhythm. In 35°C+ conditions across Pune, Chennai, or Hyderabad, the ability to drink quickly and one-handed — without fumbling a rigid bottle — genuinely matters. The soft-flask design collapses as you drink, reducing slosh and keeping the load centred. Selected for Indian conditions based on customer feedback, this flask suits vest pockets and frame mounts alike.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The Ultraflask Speed is a soft flask, so sizing refers to volume capacity rather than clothing size. Choose your capacity based on your typical ride length and access to refill points. For rides through remote stretches of the Western Ghats or Coorg, where stops are infrequent, a larger capacity is strongly recommended. In city conditions with regular stops, a compact size works well.

Compatibility Notes

The soft-flask format is compatible with most running vest pockets and hydration pack pockets. Verify the flask diameter against your bottle cage before mounting — some narrow or proprietary cages may not grip a soft flask securely. The bite valve and cap should be rinsed after each use, especially post-electrolyte drinks. BPA-free construction; hand wash recommended.

Pairs Well With

Complete your hydration setup with a quality bottle cage suited to soft flasks, an electrolyte or hydration mix for long summer rides, a cycling hydration vest for bikepacking or ultra-distance events, and a secondary rigid insulated bottle for the second cage mount.
