Unico Mid Season Leg Warmers

Leg warmers occupy a specific but important place in a cyclist's kit — essential when temperatures dip but a full tight is excessive. The Santini Unico Mid Season Leg Warmers are built for those in-between conditions: early morning Pune rides, winter evenings in Delhi, or high-altitude descents on the Leh highway where the air turns cool despite a warm day.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

For Indian riders chasing the cool-season roads of Coorg, Ooty, or the Leh-Manali corridor, mid-season leg warmers are a practical addition to the kit bag. Santini's construction quality means these fit close, stay put through climbs, and don't sag on descents. Silicone grippers hold position without cutting circulation — a detail that matters on multi-hour rides in variable temperatures across the Western Ghats.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Santini uses European race-fit sizing, which typically runs lean. Indian riders with fuller thighs should consider sizing up for comfortable compression that doesn't restrict blood flow. The grippers should sit snugly on the lower thigh without pinching. In humid conditions — think Kolkata winters or post-monsoon Chennai mornings — a slightly roomier fit aids airflow and comfort over longer efforts.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with all bib shorts and road tights. Designed to layer under the hem of bib shorts or over a base layer on cooler days. Machine washable at 30°C — hang dry only to preserve the silicone gripper band and fabric elasticity. Avoid tumble drying. Store flat or rolled to prevent gripper distortion.

Pairs Well With

Complete your cool-weather kit by pairing these with a thermal or long-sleeve jersey, a lightweight gilet for variable mountain conditions, quality bib shorts or tights from the same brand, and thermal cycling socks for cold morning starts in Delhi or Ahmedabad.
