Universal Screw Set for Ql1/ql2 Panniers

Small parts matter most when you're mid-tour on a Pune-to-Goa stretch or commuting through Chennai traffic and your QL1/QL2 pannier mount starts to rattle. The Ortlieb Universal Screw Set for QL1/QL2 Panniers is the kind of practical spare that keeps your carry system running reliably, wherever Indian roads take you.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

Ortlieb's QL1 and QL2 hook systems are among the most dependable pannier mounting solutions available, but like all hardware exposed to India's heat, humidity, and rough road vibration, screws and fixings do wear. Keeping a spare set is sensible kit management for any serious commuter or tourer — whether you're riding Hyderabad's flyovers daily or tackling a multi-day self-supported route through Coorg and the Western Ghats.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a small parts accessory, not a sized garment or frame component, so there is no size selection required. The screw set is engineered specifically for Ortlieb QL1 and QL2 pannier systems. Before ordering, confirm which QL generation your panniers use — QL1 and QL2 are distinct systems and the set is listed as universal across both. Check your pannier model number if unsure.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with Ortlieb panniers using QL1 or QL2 hook attachment systems. Not intended for QL2.1 or QL3 systems — verify your pannier generation before ordering. Standard hardware tools are sufficient for installation. Store spares away from prolonged moisture exposure, particularly during Indian monsoon months, to prevent corrosion.

Pairs Well With

Round out your touring or commuter setup with Ortlieb QL-compatible rear panniers, a handlebar bag or frame bag for additional storage, a rear rack suited to your bike's dropout standard, and waterproof pannier liners or dry bags for electronics during monsoon riding.
