Variable Speed Aluminium Mini Floor Pump

The Panaracer Variable Speed Aluminium Mini Floor Pump is a compact yet capable tool built for cyclists who want the convenience of a portable pump without giving up the efficiency of a floor-standing design. Ideal for home use, travel, or roadside repairs across India's varied terrain — from Pune's expressway rides to the steep descents of Ooty — this pump handles both road and mountain bike tyre pressures with ease.

Our Take

Indian roads demand reliability. Whether you're pumping up before a Western Ghats climb or recovering from a pothole puncture on Delhi's outer ring road, the Variable Speed mechanism here is genuinely useful — lower gear for high-volume MTB tyres, higher gear for road pressures. The aluminium barrel keeps weight low without the flex you get from plastic pumps. At Rs. 5,300, it sits in a sensible sweet spot for a tool you'll reach for every single ride.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a mini floor pump, so it's compact enough to fit in a kit bag or carry-on — relevant for cyclists flying to rides in Leh or Coorg. No apparel sizing applies here. Confirm your valve type (Presta or Schrader) before pumping; most road bikes in India use Presta, while hybrid and commuter bikes typically run Schrader valves.

Compatibility Notes

The pump is compatible with both Presta and Schrader valves, covering the majority of road, gravel, and mountain bike applications. Aluminium construction resists corrosion during monsoon storage — keep the hose coiled and the head capped when not in use. Suitable for clincher, tubeless-ready (with sealant already seated), and standard tube setups.

Pairs Well With

Complete your workshop kit with a reliable tyre pressure gauge for accurate readings, a set of quality puncture repair patches for on-the-road fixes, tubeless valve stems and rim tape if converting wheels, and a compact saddle bag to carry emergency inflation tools on longer rides through Khandala or Ahmedabad's outskirts.
