Veleno MIPS MTB Helmet

The MET Veleno MIPS MTB Helmet is built for trail riders who refuse to compromise between protection and airflow. With MIPS rotational impact technology and a ventilation system designed for sustained effort, it is a capable companion on rocky singletracks, Coorg forest trails, or dusty Aravalli descents — wherever Indian mountain biking takes you. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Enduro in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Ventilated construction for 35°C+ Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai training rides.

Race day. Aerodynamic profile and certified safety standards for competitive efforts.

Long endurance rides. Comfort-first padding and adjustable retention for full-day rides.

Our Take

The Veleno sits in a sweet spot for Indian MTB riders: extended rear-head coverage for trail and enduro use, MIPS protection for the unpredictable off-road impacts common on loose Lonavala terrain or Ooty hillside tracks, and a ventilation system that earns its keep in 35°C+ humidity. The adjustable retention system accommodates a wide range of head shapes, which matters on a subcontinent as varied as ours. Solid value at Rs. 9,999.

Sizing for Indian Riders

MET sizes run close to European standards: S covers 51–55 cm, M covers 55–59 cm, L covers 59–63 cm. Indian riders often find a half-size up beneficial when wearing a buff or thin skull cap underneath during cooler Himalayan mornings. Measure your head circumference at the widest point above your brows and cross-check MET's official size chart before ordering.

Compatibility Notes

The Veleno is certified to international safety standards and is suitable for trail, enduro, and cross-country MTB disciplines. The integrated visor is compatible with most MTB goggles; confirm fit if using prescription-lens frames. The micro-adjustable retention system works with most sweat-wicking skull caps. Replace after any significant impact — visible damage is not a reliable indicator of structural integrity.

Pairs Well With

Complete your MTB setup with MTB goggles or trail sunglasses for eye protection on dusty descents, a moisture-wicking cycling skull cap for sweat management, MTB gloves for grip and added hand protection, and a hydration pack or cycling jersey with pockets for longer trail days.
