Venger Helmet

The Rudy Project Venger Helmet is designed for riders who refuse to compromise between safety and comfort in demanding conditions. Built with a ventilation system suited to hot-weather riding and an adjustable retention system for a dialled-in fit, it covers everything from morning training loops in Pune to longer climbs up towards Lonavala or Khandala.

Use Cases

Daily training. Ventilated construction for 35°C+ Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai training rides.

Race day. Aerodynamic profile and certified safety standards for competitive efforts.

Long endurance rides. Comfort-first padding and adjustable retention for full-day rides.

Our Take

For Indian riders battling 35°C+ summers in Delhi, Chennai, or Hyderabad, the Venger's ventilation system makes a real difference on extended rides. The adjustable retention system is particularly welcome here — helmet fit is non-negotiable on rough road surfaces across the country. Certified to international safety standards, this is a helmet that earns its place as a daily training companion without asking you to overpay for it at Rs. 11,990.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Measure head circumference at the forehead — generally S=51–55cm, M=55–59cm, L=59–63cm, though always verify Rudy Project's specific chart. The helmet should sit level, one finger above the eyebrows, with straps forming a V under each ear. European sizing tends to run true; Indian riders with wider head profiles should try before buying if possible.

Compatibility Notes

Certified to international safety standards (verify CPSC, EN 1078, or equivalent on the label). The Venger is compatible with most cycling sunglasses — check temple-arm clearance if using wider frames. Works across road, gravel, and training disciplines. Replace after any significant impact regardless of visible damage, and plan for a full replacement every five years given India's high UV exposure.

Pairs Well With

Round out your setup with a pair of sport cycling sunglasses, a lightweight cycling cap for sweat management beneath the helmet, a compact rear safety light for visibility on Indian roads, and a set of cycling gloves for added comfort on longer climbs. All available at Cobbled Climbs.
