Ventral MIPS Road Cycling Helmet

Riding in India means dealing with 35°C+ heat, unpredictable roads, and long hours in the saddle — whether you're climbing the Western Ghats near Lonavala, sprinting through Pune's morning traffic, or grinding up Ooty's switchbacks. The Poc Ventral MIPS Road Cycling Helmet is built for riders who refuse to compromise on safety or airflow.

Use Cases

Daily training. Ventilated construction for 35°C+ Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai training rides.

Race day. Aerodynamic profile and certified safety standards for competitive efforts.

Long endurance rides. Comfort-first padding and adjustable retention for full-day rides.

Our Take

POC's Ventral MIPS earns its place at Rs. 25,900 by combining genuine MIPS rotational protection with a ventilation system designed for sustained heat riding. For Indian conditions — think 38°C in Chennai or Delhi in May — this helmet's airflow design makes the difference between a strong finish and a heat-shortened ride. The adjustable retention system also handles the variety of head shapes common among Indian riders. A serious helmet for serious cycling.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Measure head circumference at the forehead just above the eyebrows — POC's sizing typically runs S=51–55cm, M=55–59cm, L=59–63cm, but always verify against POC's current chart as European sizing can run slightly narrow. The helmet must sit level, one finger above the eyebrows, with straps forming a V under each ear. Riders with broader heads common in some Indian regions should check fit carefully before purchasing.

Compatibility Notes

The Ventral MIPS is certified to international road cycling safety standards. It is compatible with cycling sunglasses — verify temple-arm clearance with the helmet's vent channels. The MIPS liner works with standard retention system adjustments. Replace the helmet immediately after any significant impact, even without visible external damage, as the foam liner may be internally compromised.

Pairs Well With

Complete your setup with cycling sunglasses that have slim temple arms for a clean fit, a lightweight merino or polyester cycling cap to manage sweat under the helmet, a high-visibility rear light for safer riding on Indian roads, and UV-protective cycling arm sleeves for long climbs in open sun.
