Vitamina Cl Sealant Additive

Tubeless sealant works best when it has the right chemistry to seal punctures fast and stay active through heat, humidity, and gritty road debris. The Effetto Mariposa Vitamina Cl Sealant Additive is a dedicated chlorine-based additive designed to boost and extend the life of your existing tubeless sealant — a smart upgrade for riders dealing with India's punishing road conditions.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

India's roads — whether the potholed stretches of Pune's outskirts, the sharp gravel on Coorg's hillside lanes, or the debris-laden city streets of Hyderabad — eat through sealant quickly. Vitamina Cl works by boosting the coagulation speed of your existing sealant, meaning punctures seal faster and more reliably. For riders clocking serious kilometres in 35°C+ heat, this additive helps sealant stay active longer between top-ups, reducing roadside downtime.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Vitamina Cl is a sealant additive, not a standalone sealant — there is no size selection required. It mixes with most latex-based tubeless sealants. Riders running wider tyres common on Indian gravel or mixed-surface routes will want to ensure adequate base sealant volume before adding. Follow Effetto Mariposa's dosage guidance for your tyre volume.

Compatibility Notes

Vitamina Cl is compatible with most latex-based tubeless sealants, including Effetto Mariposa's own Caffélatex. It is not a standalone sealant and should not be used without a base sealant. Check compatibility with ammonia-free sealants before mixing. Store away from direct sunlight and heat — important given Indian storage temperatures.

Pairs Well With

For a complete tubeless setup, pair Vitamina Cl with a quality latex tubeless sealant, tubeless valves, a tubeless floor pump or inflator, and tyre plugs for on-road emergency repairs. All available at Cobbled Climbs with free delivery on orders above Rs. 2,500.
