Viz450 Tl-ld820 Rear Light

Riding through Pune's pre-dawn streets, navigating Delhi's evening traffic, or descending the Western Ghats after sunset — being seen is as critical as seeing. The Cateye Viz450 TL-LD820 Rear Light is built to cut through India's challenging visibility conditions, from monsoon rain and dust haze to the dense urban congestion that defines cycling across our cities.

Use Cases

Commuting. Be-seen lighting for early-morning and evening rides in traffic.

Group rides. Rear visibility for low-light conditions on group rides.

Daytime running. Daytime-flash mode for visibility on Indian roads.

Our Take

The Viz450 earns its place as a serious rear light for Indian riders. With 450 lumens of rear-facing output, it commands attention in Chennai's midday glare and Hyderabad's chaotic evening traffic alike. The multiple flash modes help extend battery on longer rides, while Cateye's proven mount system stays secure on potholed roads without vibrating loose — a genuine advantage when road surfaces can be unpredictable.

Sizing for Indian Riders

As a rear light, sizing is about mounting compatibility rather than body fit. The Cateye FlexTight mount system accommodates a wide range of seatposts and seat stays, including the varied tube profiles common on Indian-market bikes. If your bike uses an aero seatpost or non-standard tube shape, contact Cobbled Climbs before ordering to confirm mount compatibility.

Compatibility Notes

The Viz450 TL-LD820 mounts to seatposts and seat stays using Cateye's FlexTight bracket. It charges via USB and is compatible with standard power banks for multi-day touring or bikepacking. Verify your seatpost profile suits the mount. All Cateye products at Cobbled Climbs are 100% genuine and authorised.

Pairs Well With

Complete your visibility setup with a matching Cateye front light, a handlebar computer mount for organised cockpit management, a cycling helmet with integrated rear light compatibility, and a waterproof saddle bag to store charging cables on longer rides through Coorg or Ooty.
