Volo Road Cycling Helmet

At Rs. 6,699, the Gist Volo Road Cycling Helmet offers certified protection, a ventilation system built for hot-weather riding, and an adjustable retention system for a dialled-in fit. Whether you are climbing the Western Ghats on weekends or logging early-morning laps through Pune or Hyderabad, a helmet that keeps you cool and secure is not optional — it is essential. Cobbled Climbs is the exclusive Indian distributor for Lightweight in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Ventilated construction for 35°C+ Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai training rides.

Race day. Aerodynamic profile and certified safety standards for competitive efforts.

Long endurance rides. Comfort-first padding and adjustable retention for full-day rides.

Our Take

The Gist Volo earns its place as a dependable road helmet for Indian conditions. The ventilation system is the headline: riding in 35°C+ heat through Chennai or on the Lonavala ghat sections demands genuine airflow, not just decorative vents. The adjustable retention system keeps the helmet locked during hard efforts, and the lightweight construction reduces neck fatigue on long climbs. At this price, it is a credible entry into certified road helmet territory.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Measure your head circumference at the forehead, just above the eyebrows. General sizing runs S=51–55cm, M=55–59cm, and L=59–63cm — always cross-check against Gist's own size chart as European fits can run slightly narrow. The helmet must sit level, one finger above the eyebrows. In high-humidity conditions common across coastal Indian cities, ensure the retention dial is snug to prevent sweat-induced slippage.

Compatibility Notes

The Gist Volo meets international cycling safety standards — confirm the applicable certification (EN 1078 or equivalent) on the label before first use. Compatible with road cycling sunglasses; verify temple-arm clearance at the vent edges. The retention system suits a wide range of head shapes. Replace immediately after any significant impact, even without visible external damage.

Pairs Well With

Complete your setup with a pair of road cycling sunglasses for glare and dust protection, a lightweight cycling cap to manage sweat under the helmet, a high-visibility rear light for dawn and dusk rides on Indian roads, and breathable road cycling gloves for added control and comfort.
