Women Crystal 2 Knickers Ms

Women riders tackling the Western Ghats, Chennai coastal rides, or long Pune-to-Lonavala training loops need bib shorts that genuinely perform through heat, sweat, and hours in the saddle. The Northwave Women Crystal 2 Knickers Ms delivers multi-density chamois comfort, compressive fabric, and quick-drying construction built for India's demanding conditions.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

The Crystal 2 Knickers Ms earns its place in any serious Indian women rider's kit. The multi-density chamois holds its shape across four-hour efforts in 38°C heat — something cheaper alternatives simply fail to do. Flatlock seams prevent inner-thigh chafing on rough Ghat descents, and the silicone leg grippers stay put without cutting circulation during sustained climbs. At Rs. 3,483, this is honest value for quality that lasts.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Northwave follows European race-fit sizing, which runs snug. Measure both waist and thigh circumference before ordering. Indian riders with fuller thighs relative to waist should size up. Compression should feel firm but not restrictive — the fabric relaxes slightly after the first ride. For endurance rides on Ooty or Coorg roads, favour the larger size; for race-day fit, go smaller.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with all road saddle types and shapes. Wear without underwear — adding underwear undermines moisture management and creates friction. Machine wash at 30°C with mild detergent; hang dry to preserve chamois foam and elastic. Inspect chamois every six months and retire the shorts when padding compresses or thins noticeably.

Pairs Well With

Complete your kit with a lightweight moisture-wicking women's cycling jersey for hot-weather rides, a quality road saddle matched to your sit-bone width, chamois cream for rides beyond 60km in Indian summer heat, and breathable cycling socks to round out the setup.
