Ws Road Wheel (outline)

French wheel manufacturer Corima has built a reputation on precision engineering and aerodynamic design since the 1980s. The Corima Ws Road Wheel brings that heritage to Indian riders who demand performance across conditions ranging from Pune's smooth expressways to the punishing climbs of the Western Ghats and the mixed surfaces of Ooty and Coorg. At Rs. 75,000, this is a considered investment in how your bike rides. Cobbled Climbs is the exclusive Indian distributor for Campagnolo in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable rim and reliable hub bearings for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic depth and weight-optimised construction for competitive efforts.

All-rounder. Versatile depth and width for road, gravel, or all-road riding.

Our Take

French wheel craft meets Indian road reality. The Corima Ws Road Wheel is built for riders who want a genuine performance upgrade — not just an aesthetic one. India's varied surfaces demand wheels that can handle expressway speed runs near Delhi and Chennai alongside the patchy, broken tarmac of urban riding. The precision hub internals and optimised bearing placement make each pedal stroke feel more direct, rewarding disciplined watts on every climb from Lonavala to Leh.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Wheelset fit depends on three things: frame axle standard (QR or thru-axle with correct dimensions), brake type (rim or disc, Centerlock or 6-bolt), and cassette body (Shimano HG, SRAM XDR, or Campagnolo). India's heat above 35°C puts extra load on bearings, so confirm compatibility carefully and plan for more frequent bearing checks during summer riding seasons in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Chennai.

Compatibility Notes

Verify axle standard, brake type, and cassette body before ordering. Tubeless-ready rims require tubeless-compatible tyres, sealant, and valves — not included. Rim brake versions need the correct brake pad compound for the rim surface material. Corima recommends periodic hub servicing; check service intervals and factor this into ownership cost.

Pairs Well With

Complete your wheel upgrade with high-quality road tyres matched to the rim's inner width, tubeless sealant and valve kit for monsoon-proof sealing, a torque wrench for correct installation, and a track pump with accurate pressure gauge for India's varying road conditions.
