X-grip Phone Mount with Ez-on/off Bicycle Base

Navigating Pune's Sinhagad Road, Chennai's marina stretch, or the hairpins above Khandala demands a phone mount that holds firm through potholes, monsoon spray, and sustained vibration. The Ram Mounts X-Grip Phone Mount with Ez-on/off Bicycle Base is a universal, spring-loaded holder paired with a quick-release bicycle base that makes mounting and removal genuinely quick and confident.

Use Cases

Race day. Race geometry and pro-level component spec for competitive efforts.

Daily training. Endurance geometry and comfort for repeat training rides.

All-road and gravel. Versatile platform for road, gravel, and bikepacking in India.

Our Take

Indian roads are among the most demanding in the world for cycling accessories — broken tarmac, speed bumps, and monsoon puddles will expose any weak link in your setup. The RAM X-Grip's four-corner spring tension grips the phone mechanically, with no case ecosystem required. The Ez-on/off base means you can pull your phone off at a chai stop in seconds. For riders doing long navigated rides through the Western Ghats or commuting in Delhi heat, this is a practical, durable choice selected for Indian conditions.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The X-Grip is a universal holder, not a sized garment — fit is determined by your phone's width, not your body. Most current smartphones fit within the X-Grip's spring range. If you use a thick protective case (common in India for drop protection), confirm the combined width still falls within the mount's specified grip range before ordering. No sizing chart needed; just measure your cased phone width.

Compatibility Notes

The Ez-on/off bicycle base is designed for standard round handlebar diameters. Verify your bar diameter before ordering — most road and MTB bars are compatible, but aero-profile or oversized bars may need a different base. The X-Grip holder itself is case-agnostic, working with or without a protective case. RAM Mounts uses a modular ball-and-socket system, so the X-Grip head can also be paired with other RAM bases if needed. All products at Cobbled Climbs are 100% genuine.

Pairs Well With

Complete your cockpit with a waterproof phone case for monsoon rides, a compact power bank or dynamo USB charger for multi-day touring, a cycling computer for dedicated data display, and a handlebar bag for storage on longer routes like Coorg or Leh rides.
