Description
The Pinarello X1 105 Disc Road Bike is a complete, race-bred endurance platform built on carbon engineering and finished with Shimano 105 disc groupset. Priced at Rs. 3,51,000 and shipped from Mumbai, it is one of the most compelling mid-to-high-performance road bikes available in India — suited to ambitious club riders and aspiring racers alike.
Use Cases
Race day. Race geometry and pro-level component spec for competitive efforts.
Daily training. Endurance geometry and comfort for repeat training rides.
All-road and gravel. Versatile platform for road, gravel, and bikepacking in India.
Our Take
Pinarello's X1 brings Italian frame DNA to a practical 105-spec build — a combination that makes genuine sense for Indian riding. Disc brakes inspire confidence on slick Pune expressways after the first monsoon shower, while the endurance geometry keeps you comfortable across the long, punishing climbs to Lonavala, Khandala, or Ooty. Carbon construction keeps weight honest without the carbon-race-bike price premium. For a serious Indian cyclist ready to move up, this is a compelling choice.
Sizing for Indian Riders
Pinarello sizes by seat tube length; measure your inseam and standing height before ordering. Indian riders tend to have shorter torsos relative to leg length compared to European averages, so pay close attention to reach and stack figures in the geometry chart. If between sizes, size down for an aggressive road position, or size up if comfort on long weekend rides is the priority. A professional bike fit after delivery is strongly recommended.
Compatibility Notes
The X1 arrives fully assembled with Shimano 105 disc drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes. It is compatible with standard road cycling accessories — bar tape, cycling computers, bottle cages, and saddlebags. Pedals are not included; choose SPD-SL or Look-compatible pedals to match your road cycling shoes. A first-service inspection is advised after the initial 100 km of riding to check cable tension and brake bedding.
Pairs Well With
Complete your X1 setup with road cycling shoes and clipless pedals, a well-fitted aero or endurance road helmet, a GPS cycling computer for training data, and a quality track pump for pre-ride tyre pressure management. Cycling-specific bib shorts and jerseys are also worth considering for long days in the saddle.
