Xd/xdr Freehub

The Wahoo XD/XDR Freehub is a precision-machined replacement freehub body designed for Wahoo's direct-drive smart trainers. It allows riders running SRAM's XD or XDR driver standard to mount their existing road or gravel cassette directly onto a Wahoo trainer, keeping drivetrain feel consistent between outdoor rides and indoor sessions. Cobbled Climbs is the exclusive Indian distributor for Campagnolo in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

For riders in Delhi, Pune, or Hyderabad who train indoors through summer and monsoon, maintaining drivetrain consistency matters. If your road or gravel bike runs an SRAM XD or XDR cassette, swapping to this freehub means your cadence, shifting feel, and gearing stay identical between trainer and road — no relearning, no compromise. At Rs. 6,999, it is a worthwhile investment for serious structured training.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a hardware component, not a wearable — sizing in the traditional sense does not apply. What matters is matching the freehub standard to your cassette: XD accepts SRAM's smaller-core cassettes (typically 10-42T and similar), while XDR is the road variant. Confirm your cassette driver standard before ordering. Contact Cobbled Climbs if unsure — our team can verify compatibility with your drivetrain.

Compatibility Notes

Designed specifically for compatible Wahoo KICKR direct-drive trainers. Works with SRAM XD and XDR-standard cassettes. Not compatible with Shimano HG or Campagnolo cassettes — those require a separate freehub body. Ensure your trainer's axle and freehub interface match before installation. A torque wrench is recommended for proper fitting.

Pairs Well With

Complete your indoor training setup with an SRAM-compatible cassette (11 or 12-speed road or gravel), a quality training mat to protect floors and reduce vibration, a sweat guard to shield your frame from corrosion during hard sessions, and a powerful desk fan for airflow in warm Indian rooms.
