Xd15 Ceramic Bottom Bracket Kit

The Enduro Xd15 Ceramic Bottom Bracket Kit is a precision-engineered bearing solution for riders who demand smooth, low-friction pedalling in demanding conditions. Built around ceramic bearing technology, it targets performance-focused cyclists running high-end drivetrains who want to extract every watt from their effort — whether on Pune's early-morning training loops or the long climbs toward Ooty.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable construction for repeat use.

Race day. Lightweight, stiff design for power transfer and aerodynamics.

Fit adjustment. Right stem length critical for comfortable bike fit.

Our Take

India's riding conditions are unforgiving on bottom brackets — monsoon grit, 35°C+ heat, and the fine dust of Rajasthan or Deccan plateau roads accelerate bearing wear considerably. Enduro's ceramic bearing technology addresses this directly: lower rolling resistance, greater durability under load, and notably better resistance to contamination than standard steel alternatives. For riders who clock serious kilometres through Chennai's coastal humidity or Leh's altitude, the Xd15 justifies its premium positioning.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Bottom bracket fit is determined by your frame's shell standard and crankset interface — not body size. Verify your frame's bottom bracket shell type (threaded, press-fit, T47, or similar) and your crankset's spindle diameter before ordering. If unsure, note your frame brand, model year, and crankset details and contact Cobbled Climbs — our team can confirm compatibility before you commit.

Compatibility Notes

The Xd15 Ceramic Kit is designed for specific bottom bracket shell standards — confirm your frame standard before purchase. Works with compatible crankset spindle interfaces. Ceramic bearings benefit from clean installation; use appropriate grease or anti-seize on threads and avoid contamination during fitting. Not a universal fit — check your drivetrain ecosystem carefully.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain service with a quality crankset from a matched brand, a chain checker and replacement chain for regular maintenance, a bottom bracket installation and removal tool set, and a drivetrain degreaser and lubricant suited to Indian conditions — wet lube for monsoon season, dry lube for dusty summer roads.
