XDR Freehub Body for Ultra Ultra Dark Wheelset

The Magene XDR Freehub Body is a dedicated replacement component for the Ultra Ultra Dark Wheelset, allowing riders to switch to SRAM's XDR 12-speed cassette standard. If you're upgrading your drivetrain or replacing a worn freehub, this is a precision-built part that keeps your high-performance wheelset in service without the cost of a full replacement hub. Cobbled Climbs is the exclusive Indian distributor for Campagnolo in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable rim and reliable hub bearings for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic depth and weight-optimised construction for competitive efforts.

All-rounder. Versatile depth and width for road, gravel, or all-road riding.

Our Take

A freehub body is an easy part to overlook until it fails mid-ride — on a Pune–Lonavala climb or a Chennai coastal flat. The Magene XDR body is a smart, cost-effective way to future-proof your Ultra Ultra Dark wheelset for SRAM 12-speed groupsets. Rather than retiring a quality wheelset over a cassette standard mismatch, this swap keeps your investment rolling. Reliable engagement and precise engineering make this worth having on hand.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This freehub body is specifically for the Magene Ultra Ultra Dark Wheelset and the SRAM XDR 12-speed cassette standard — not Shimano HG or Campagnolo. Before ordering, confirm your rear hub shell matches the Magene Ultra Ultra Dark rear hub interface. If you're unsure, contact Cobbled Climbs for a compatibility check before purchase — getting this wrong is a costly mistake.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible exclusively with the Magene Ultra Ultra Dark Wheelset rear hub and SRAM XDR 12-speed cassettes. Not compatible with Shimano HG, Microspline, or Campagnolo bodies. Installation requires appropriate workshop tools; incorrect torquing can damage hub internals. Inspect pawls and springs during installation and replace if worn. Refer to Magene's service documentation for torque specifications.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain upgrade with a SRAM 12-speed cassette to pair with this freehub, a quality chain compatible with your groupset, cassette installation tools including a lockring socket, and a torque wrench for correct installation torque. Available across all categories at Cobbled Climbs.
