Zr1 Freehub Body Kit Wheel Service Parts

The Zipp Zr1 Freehub Body Kit is a precision wheel service part designed to keep your Zipp wheelset running smoothly. Whether you ride the Western Ghats on weekends or log training kilometres through Pune or Hyderabad, freehub reliability is critical — a worn or seized freehub body can end a ride instantly and leave you stranded far from any workshop. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Time in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable rim and reliable hub bearings for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic depth and weight-optimised construction for competitive efforts.

All-rounder. Versatile depth and width for road, gravel, or all-road riding.

Our Take

Zipp's Zr1 freehub body is the kind of component you only notice when it fails. Keeping a replacement kit on hand makes genuine sense for Indian riders who put consistent kilometres on their Zipp wheels, particularly given the grit, humidity, and occasional monsoon exposure that accelerates drivetrain wear. Servicing your own freehub is straightforward and extends wheel life considerably — this kit makes that work clean and correct.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a wheel service part, not a sized garment, so fit in the traditional sense does not apply. What matters is compatibility: confirm your Zipp wheel model is Zr1-compatible before ordering. If you are unsure which freehub body suits your wheel and cassette standard, contact the Cobbled Climbs team for guidance before purchase — getting this right the first time saves time and return shipping.

Compatibility Notes

The Zr1 Freehub Body Kit is designed specifically for Zipp Zr1 hubs. Verify your hub model, cassette driver standard (Shimano HG, SRAM XDR, or Campagnolo), and current freehub condition before ordering. Not universally cross-compatible with older Zipp hub generations. All Zipp products at Cobbled Climbs are 100% genuine and authorised.

Pairs Well With

For a complete wheel service session, consider pairing this kit with a quality hub bearing press set, appropriate wheel lubricants and grease, a freehub removal tool, and a torque wrench rated for precision component work. Browse the full range at Cobbled Climbs.
