Zumy Helmet

The Rudy Project Zumy Helmet is a road-ready cycling helmet designed for riders who refuse to compromise between safety and comfort. Built with a ventilation system suited to sustained heat, an adjustable retention system for a dialled fit, and certified to international safety standards, the Zumy makes a practical case for itself whether you are commuting through Chennai traffic or grinding up the Lonavala ghats. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Form in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Ventilated construction for 35°C+ Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai training rides.

Race day. Aerodynamic profile and certified safety standards for competitive efforts.

Long endurance rides. Comfort-first padding and adjustable retention for full-day rides.

Our Take

At Rs. 5,990, the Rudy Project Zumy sits in a sensible range for riders who want a certified, well-ventilated helmet without paying premium race-day prices. For Indian conditions — think 35°C+ mornings in Pune, sweaty climbs around Khandala, and humid coastal rides near Mumbai — the Zumy's ventilation system and lightweight construction make it a genuinely practical daily training choice. The adjustable retention system is especially welcome for getting a consistent, secure fit across longer rides.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Measure head circumference at the forehead, just above the eyebrows. Rudy Project typically follows S=51–55cm, M=55–59cm, L=59–63cm, though we recommend verifying against Rudy Project's specific size chart. The helmet should sit level, one finger above the eyebrows. Straps should form a V under each ear with two-finger chin clearance. Indian riders with wider cranial profiles often find a medium fits better than expected.

Compatibility Notes

The Zumy is certified to international cycling helmet safety standards — confirm CPSC, EN 1078, or equivalent certification on the label for your riding discipline. Compatible with Rudy Project cycling sunglasses and most third-party eyewear; check temple clearance at the helmet's lower edge. Replace this helmet immediately after any significant impact, regardless of visible external damage. UV exposure in Indian conditions accelerates foam ageing — plan for replacement every five years.

Pairs Well With

Complete your riding setup with a pair of cycling sunglasses for glare and dust protection on open roads, a lightweight cycling cap to manage sweat under the helmet, a quality rear safety light for visibility on early-morning rides, and breathable cycling jerseys suited to Indian summer heat.
